LUCTUS To Enter Studio This Summer

Lithuanian black metallers LUCTUS will enter Phoenix Studio in Latvia this summer with producer Gints Lundbergs to begin recording their new album, entitled "Jauciant Pabaiga Arti" (Feeling The End Is Near). The CD will consist of eight or nine compositions, chosen from nearly twenty songs that have been written thus far. The lyrics to the new album will be written entirely in Lithuanian and will cover such topics as "war, the end of it all approaching, knell for the country, [and] peculiar interpretrations of death, although everything is treated in a more personal and yet more devastating way," according to a press release.
